Peppermint hot chocolate

Measure Ingredient
¾ ounce Peppermint Schnapps
1 cup Hot chocolate; prepared
\N \N Whipped topping
1 \N Whole candy cane; optional

1. Pour peppermint schnapps into a 10-ounce mug. Stir in hot chocolate. Top with whipped cream. Add a candy cane stirrer or sprinkle with crushed candy cane, if desired.

NOTES : For a nonalcoholic version, just omit the schnapps and add ¼ teaspoon peppermint extract.
