Green-pepper steak

Yield: 4 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1 pounds Round steak; 1/4-inch thick
¼ cup Soy sauce
1 tablespoon Oil
1 cup Water
1 large Green bell pepper; cut in strips
1 tablespoon Cornstarch
\N \N Hot cooked rice or noodles

Cut steak in 2-inch by 1-inch strips & toss with soy sauce. Brown on one side with oil. Add green pepper & cook until meat is browned. Combine water & cornstarch, add to meat. Cook over medium heat until sauce is thickened & peppers are tender. Serve with rice or noodles.
