Peanut butter crisscrosses

Yield: 4 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1 cup Shortening
1 teaspoon Vanilla
1 cup Sugar
1 cup Brown sugar
2 \N Eggs
1 cup Peanut butter; (can use chunky)
3 cups Flour
⅛ teaspoon Salt
2 teaspoons Soda

Cream shortening, vanilla and sugars. Add eggs; beat thoroughly. Stir in peanut butter, then dry ingredients. Form into small balls with palms of hands; place on greased cookie sheet. Press with back of fork to make crisscrosses. Bake at 375 degrees for about 10 minutes. Makes 50-60 cookies.
