Peanut brittle - my favorite

Ingredients

QuantityIngredient
1cupSUGAR
½cupWhite KARO
4tablespoonsWATER
1teaspoonSODA; (heaping w/o lumps)
cupSpanish PEANUTS with skins; (not raw)

Directions

Mix top 3 ingred together and bring to a boil Cook til thin syrup 230°. Add Peanuts. Boil, stir til light tan color - 300°. Add soda, stir very well.

Pour onto buttered cookie sheet. DO NOT Spread.
