Orange rum fruit sauce

Measure Ingredient
¾ cup Raisins
½ cup Chopped glace ginger
½ cup Chopped glace pinapple
½ cup Chopped preserved figs
½ cup Rum
Juice & zest of 2 oranges

Combine the raisins, ginger, pinapple, figs and rum in a bowl and leave to stand overnight. Just before serving, add the orange juice & zest. This sauce can be served with vanilla ice-cream and garnished with toasted slivered almonds.
