Onion marmalade ii

| 4 | Red onions (~1.5 lb) | |
| 2 | tablespoons | Butter |
| 2 | tablespoons | Red wine vinegar |
| 2 | tablespoons | Honey |
Directions
Cut onions crosswise in half, those into quarters, those into cubes.
Heat butter in a heavy saucepan, add onions, cover, cook medium high ~15 min until they start to brown, stirring occasionally. Uncover, add vinegar, cook briefly until almost evaporated, then stir in honey. Cover tightly, cook 10 min.
