CHOCOLATE GLAZE
Here are two great TNT one-pan cake recipes (with frostings) from years ago, origin unknown, although I think it may have been McCalls or Family Circle Magazine in the early 1980's.
In 8 or 9 inch pan mix together flour, sugar, corn starch, baking soda, cocoa, cinnamon and salt with fork. Add oil, vinegar, vanilla and water.
Mix well. Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes. Cool and frost.
Chocolate Glaze: Combine cocoa, oil, syrup and cinnamon in small sauce pan.
Stir over low heat until smooth. Gradually stir in sugar until smooth and shiny.
NOTE: Both of these are also good topped with whipped cream or sprinkled with powdered sugar.
