Oatmeal-plus cookies

Ingredients

¼poundsMargarine
1cupBrown Sugar -- packed
1Egg
1teaspoonVanilla
1cupWhole-Wheat Flour
½teaspoonBaking Soda
½teaspoonSalt
½cupRolled Oats
½cupNuts -- chopped
½cupCoconut -- grated
¾cupRaisins

Directions

1. Blend together the margarine and brown sugar. 2. Add the remaining ingredients one at a time while blending. Add each one as the preceding one disappears. 3. Drop generous teaspoons onto greased cookie sheets. Bake about 12 minutes at 350°F.

Makes 3 dozen.
