Oatmeal surprise cookies

Ingredients

| 1 | cup | Brown sugar |
| 1 | cup | White sugar |
| 1 | cup | Shortening |
| 2 | Eggs | |
| 1 | teaspoon | Soda |
| 1 | teaspoon | Cream of tartar |
| 1 | cup | Flour |
| 3 | cups | Oatmeal |
| 2 | cups | Corn flakes |
| 1 | cup | Coconut |
| ½ | pounds | Blanched peanuts, (or any kind of nuts) |
Directions
Cream sugars and shortening. Add eggs, soda, and cream of tartar. Also add flour, oatmeal, corn flakes, coconut and nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Use a greased baking sheet. Use 1 teaspoon of dough shaped like a ball
