Ingredients

| 1 | cup | Brown sugar |
| 1 | cup | Granulated sugar |
| 2 | Sticks butter | |
| 2 | Eggs | |
| 1 | teaspoon | Vanilla |
| 2 | cups | Sifted flour |
| 1 | teaspoon | Baking soda |
| 1 | teaspoon | Salt |
| ½ | teaspoon | Allspice |
| ½ | teaspoon | Nutmeg |
| ½ | teaspoon | Cinnamon |
| 1¾ | cup | Oatmeal |
| 1¼ | cup | Chopped pecans |
| ⅔ | cup | Currants or raisins |
Directions
Cream butter & sugars. Add eggs & vanilla. Add flour mixed with spices. Mix well & add oats, pecans & currants. Drop by teaspoonful onto greased cookie sheets. Bake at 350 about 8 minutes. Makes 5 dozen.
