Noodle and beef skillet

| 2 | Onion; minced | |
| ½ | cup | Finely chopped green pepper |
| 2 | tablespoons | Butter |
| ½ | pounds | Mushrooms; sliced |
| 3 | cups | Beef bouillon |
| 3 | tablespoons | Flour |
| ¼ | cup | Water |
| 1 | dash | Tobasco sauce |
| 1 | teaspoon | Salt |
| Pepper | ||
| ½ | teaspoon | Thyme or basil |
| ½ | pounds | Flat noodles; cooked |
Directions
Cook the beef in a heavy skillet, adding a small amount of butter if necessary, until slightly browned, breaking it up with a fork as it cooks; set aside. Cook the onions and green pepper in 2 tablespoons of butter until soft. Add the mushrooms and saute' for 5 minutes, covered. Add the meat and cook for 5 minutes more. Add the bouillon and heat to boiling.
Meanwhile mix the flour with the water into a smooth paste and add this to skillet when the contents are boiling. Stir in the seasonings and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add the noodles and heat. Makes 6 servings.
