1 | tablespoon | Plus 1 ts baking powder |
½ | teaspoon | Salt |
1½ | cup | Milk |
¼ | cup | Shortening, melted |
1 | Egg, beaten | |
10 | Slice bacon, cooked/crumbled | |
Creole Celery Sauce |
Directions
Combine first six ingredients, add milk, shortening, and egg mixing well. Stir in bacon. Pour batter into a well greased 8 inch square pan. Bake at 425 degrees for 25 minutes or until lightly browned. Cut into squares, and serve with Creole Celery Sauce.
