Ingredients

| 1 | cup | All purpose flour |
| 1 | tablespoon | Sugar |
| 1 | tablespoon | Plus 1 ts baking powder |
| ½ | teaspoon | Salt |
| 1½ | cup | Milk |
| ¼ | cup | Shortening, melted |
| 1 | Egg, beaten | |
| 10 | Slice bacon, cooked/crumbled | |

Directions
Combine first six ingredients, add milk, shortening, and egg mixing well. Stir in bacon. Pour batter into a well greased 8 inch square pan. Bake at 425 degrees for 25 minutes or until lightly browned. Cut into squares, and serve with Creole Celery Sauce.
