Cornmeal cracklin' bread

| 2 | cups | White cornmeal |
| 1 | teaspoon | Salt |
| 3 | teaspoons | Baking powder |
| ½ | cup | Cold water |
| ½ | cup | Milk |
| 1 | Egg; beaten | |
| ½ | cup | Cracklin; (fried pork rind), chopped into pea size pieces |
Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Sift together cornmeal, salt and baking powder.
Stir in water, milk and egg. Beat until smooth.
Stir in cracklin. Pour into greased 9-inch skillet and bake for 30-35 minutes. Cut into wedges and serve hot.
Serves 6.
