Microwave beef and mushroom loaf

Yield: 4 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1 \N Egg; or 1/4 cup egg subst
3 tablespoons Milk; or mush. liquid
3 ounces Can mushroom stems and pieces, drained
¼ cup Quick oats
2 tablespoons Parsley; snipped
1 teaspoon Onion salt
1 pounds Ground beef; (or 1/2 gr. turkey)
½ cup Sharp American cheese; shredded

In bowl, combine egg, milk or liquid, mushrooms, oats, parsley and onion salt. Stir in ground meat. Shape into round loaf in glass pie pan.

Microwave, covered on High for 5-7 minutes. Drain fat. Microwave, uncovered until done, 2-3 minutes more. Poke to make sure loaf doesn't run red.

Sprinkle with cheese. Microwave unitl cheese melts, 1 minute. Let stand for 5 minutes. Transfer to serving platter. MC formatting by bobbi744@...
