Mary's spaghetti sauce

Ingredients

| 1 | pounds | Ground chuck |
| 1 | Onion, chopped | |
| 1 | Green bell pepper, chopped | |
| 1 | cup | Chopped celery (opt) |
| ¼ | teaspoon | Ground oregano |
| 12 | ounces | Tomato paste |
| 3 | cups | Water |
| 2 | teaspoons | Paprika |
| 1 | teaspoon | Garlic powder |
| 2 | teaspoons | Granulated sugar |
| Salt, to taste | ||
| Ground black pepper to taste | ||
Directions
Brown meat in large heavy pan. Add onion, green pepper and celery; saute until onion is translucent. Add oregano, tomato paste, 3 cups water, paprika, garlic powder, sugar, salt and pepper. Cook over low heat at least 2 hours; the longer the better. Skim fat from surface.
