|2½ each||To 3 cups white sugar|
|3 tablespoons||White corn syrup|
|¾ teaspoon||Cream of tartar|
|3-4 tsp maple flavor|
|¼ teaspoon||Vanilla extract|
Mix together first four ingredients in 2 quart saucepan. Stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves and mixture is crystal clear. Stir in maple flavor and vanilla extract; continue to simmer for 2 minutes. Pour into attractive containers. Makes 1-½ pints, 1 tbsp per serving. Good with pancakes, waffles, French toast, etc. Will keep longer if kept in refrigerator. Bring to room temperature before serving.
