Ingredients

| 2 | cups | Sugar |
| 1 | cup | Water |
| ¼ | cup | Light corn syrup |
| 1 | Vanilla bean; split | |
Directions
Place the sugar, water and corn syrup in a small saucepan, and scrape the vanilla bean seeds into the pot, along with the whole bean. Bring to a boil, stirring until the sugar is dissolved. Let boil for 1 minute longer, remove bean and reserve for future use and strain through a sieve. Let cool and place in a squeeze bottle. Great over fresh fruit, pancakes, and waffles.
