Lasoon chutney (garlic) (w)

Ingredients

| 5 | Cloves garlic; 5-6, sliced | |
| 1 | cup | Coconut shreds; unsweetened |
| 1 | tablespoon | Cumin seed; whole |
| 3 | Red chiles; 3-4, dried | |
| 2 | tablespoons | Sesame seeds |
| 2 | tablespoons | Tamarind pulp; seedless |
| ¼ | cup | Peanuts; unsalted |
| ½ | teaspoon | Salt; or to taste |
Directions
Roast all of the above ingredients independently with the exception of the salt in a dry skillet until they turn reddish brown in color. Grind them in a coffee mill and serve either dry as a condiment or serve with ghee.
