Kentucky corn pones

Yield: 6 servings

Measure Ingredient
1 cup Cornmeal
½ teaspoon Salt
½ cup Boiling water
½ cup Whipping cream
1 tablespoon Butter
1 teaspoon Baking powder

Combine cornmeal and salt; add boiling water and stir well. Add remaining ingredients. Drop mixture by tablespoonfuls onto a greased griddle. Bake at 450 for 15 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
