Measure Ingredient
4 cups Water
3¾ cup Sugar
¾ cup Instant coffee
1 quart 100 proof vodka
¼ cup Pure vanilla extract

Bring water and sugar to a rolling boil. Remove from heat. Add instant coffee. Stir well to dissolve completely. Let cool till lukewarm. Add vodka and vanilla. Stir well and bottle in brown bottles. Let stand for 2 weeks. Makes about 3½ fifths.
