Kahlua 3

Yield: 1 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1 2 oz. jar instant coffee
1 pint Brandy
4 cups Sugar
1 Whole vanilla bean
2 cups Boiling water
1 pint Vodka

Combine coffee, sugar, and water in saucepan, heat and stir until all is dissolved. Do not bring to a boil. Cool, half vanilla bean by cutting on the slant lenghthwise. Mix all ingredients in a ½ gallon container (it doesn't call for it, but we always used a glass one left over from apple cider). Store in a dark place for a month. Pour into decanters or small glass cocktail bottles, start now for Christmas presents.
