Jerk seasoning rub

Measure Ingredient
1½ tablespoon Sugar
1 tablespoon Onion powder
1 tablespoon Dried thyme
2 teaspoons Ground allspice
2 teaspoons Freshly ground black pepper
2 teaspoons Ground red pepper
1 teaspoon Salt
¾ teaspoon Ground nutmeg
¼ teaspoon Ground cloves

Combine and store in an airtight container, yield: ⅓ cup. Directions for gift card: Rub or sprinkle jerk seasoning on chicken and seafood before broiling or grilling
