Italian tomato sauce #1

Yield: 1 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1 can (35-oz) whole tomatoes
4 tablespoons Parsley; chopped
4 tablespoons Basil chopped
1 teaspoon Garlic salt (I use garlic powder)
½ teaspoon Black pepper
¼ teaspoon Crushed red pepper
2 tablespoons Olive oil
1 Onion minced
½ teaspoon Oregano
1 tablespoon Capers; packed in salt, rinsed (I leave thse out)
1 teaspoon Sugar

2. Boil quickly to reduce liquid. Cook to desired consistency This sauce may be used on pizza; or it may be combined with cooked vegetables, or with a combination of cooked vegetables and cooked meat.
