Italian lemon ice

Yield: 1 Servings

Measure Ingredient
8 Lemons (up to 10)
1 tablespoon Grated lemon peel
1 1/2 c. lemon juice (up to 1)
8 cups Water
½ teaspoon Salt

For a difference in flavor, add 2 or more cups of another fruit that is sliced, diced or pureed. Such as strawberries, cherries, watermelon, raspberries. In saucepan, bring to a boil 2 cups water and 2 cups sugar.

Let cool. Then mix together in an ice cream freezer as you would regular ice cream.
