Hot spiced tea - sl 10/83

Ingredients

| 4 | eaches | 3-inch cinnamon sticks; halved |
| 1 | teaspoon | Whole cloves |
| ½ | teaspoon | Allspice |
| 1 | quart | ;Hot tea |
| ½ | cup | Sugar |
| 3 | cups | Orange juice |
| 3 | cups | Unsweetened pineapple juice |
| Orange slice quarters (optional) | ||
Directions
Combine first 3 ingredients in a tea ball or cheesecloth bag; set aside.
Combine hot tea and sugar in a large Dutch oven; stir in juice. Add spice mixture and bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer 30 minutes. Garnish each serving with fresh orange, if desired. Serve hot. Yield: 10 cups.
