Ingredients

1eachEnvelope unflavored gelatin
¼cup;Cold water
1pack(3-ounce) lemon-flavored gelatin
½cup;boiling water
1carton(8-ounce) sour cream
1each(5-ounce) jar prepared horseradish
¾cupMayonnaise
Purple kale or lettuce

Directions

Sprinkle unflavored gelatin over ¼ cup cold water; let stand 1 minute.

Dissolve lemon-flavored gelatin in ½ cup boiling water; add unflavored gelatin mixture, stirring until dissolved. Add sour cream, horseradish, and mayonnaise, stirring until blended. Pour mixture into a lightly oiled 4-cup mold; cover and chill until firm.

Unmold onto purple kale. Serve spread with beef or ham biscuits.

Yield: 25 appetizer servings.
