Horseradish slaw

4Ripe plum tomatoes, seeded
2cupsRomaine lettuce, finely shredded and packed tightly
3tablespoonsFinely diced red onion
¼cupMayonnaise
¼cupSour cream
2tablespoonsPrepared horseradish
½teaspoonSalt

Directions

This slaw is best served on top of grilled steak or chicken sandwiches, or on a burger, for that matter.

Dice the tomatoes and put them in a medium-sized bowl with the lettuce and onion.

In a separate small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, horseradish and salt. Add enough mayonnaise mixture as needed to moisten the lettuce, tomatoes and onions in the other bowl. Stir well.
