|1⅓ cup||Buttermilk*; at room tempera|
|1⅓ cup||Apple juice; at room tempera|
|4||Egg whites; whipped|
Recipe by: 500 Fat-Free Recipes Preparation Time: 0:20 Prepare waffle iron with cooking spray and heat up. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. In another mixing bowl, combine buttermilk, apple sauce, honey, and egg whites.
Add dry ingredients with wet ingredients just until moistened. Pour enough batter to fill two-thirds of the waffle iron. Cook until crisp and golden brown. Set aside. Repeat with remaining batter.
