Hawaiian fruit ring

Ingredients

1cupDiced oranges (about 3)
½cupSugar
1cupOrange juice and water
1pack(3-oz) orange gelatin
1cupHot water
1tablespoonGrated orange rind
3tablespoonsChopped maraschino cherries
1cupPineapple tidbits; drained, cut in half

Directions

Comi=bine orange and sugar. Let stand 10 minutes. Drain and add water to make 1 cup. Dissolve gelatin in hot water. Add orange juice, water and orange rind. Chill until slightly thickened and fold in fruits. Pour into 1-½ quart mold or individual molds. Garnish with sweetened whippen cream, coconut, cut cherries and mint leaves, if desired.
