Harriet black's cole slaw

Ingredients

| 1 | Head Cabbage | |
| 1 | Onion | |
| 1 | Bell Pepper | |
| ½ | teaspoon | Mustard Seed |
| ½ | teaspoon | Celery Seed |
| Salt; Pepper | ||
| ½ | cup | Sugar |
| 1 | cup | Vinegar |
| ¼ | cup | Oil |
Directions
Grate cabbage, onions and pepper. Pour sugar over this and let it set 5 minutes.Combine vinegar, oil and spices in a small saucepan, boil for 2 minutes. Pour over cabbage and let sit overnight.
NOTES : Very easy when using a bag of pre-shredded cole slaw. I've also used a grated red bell pepper, makes it nice and colorful.
