Golden fried catfish

Ingredients

6smallsCatfish; cleaned and dressed
1teaspoonSalt
¼teaspoonPepper
2cupsCornmeal, self-rising
Vegetable oil

Directions

Sprinkle catfish with salt and pepper. Place cornmeal in a paper bag; drop in catfish, one at a time, and shake until coated. Fry in deep hot oil (375) until golden brown; drain well. Serve hot.
