6Pears, peeled
6Peaches, peeled
3Green pepper
3Sweet red peppers
1Large bunch celery
4cupsGranulated sugar
2tablespoonsSalt
1quartCider vinegar
½cupMixed pickling spices (tied
In a bag)

Directions

Prepare and chop the vegetables and fruit. Add sugar, salt, vinegar and spices. Simmer slowly uncovered until thick - about two hours.
