6 tablespoons | Vegetable oil |
\N pinch | Of turmeric |
¾ teaspoon | Ground cummin |
½ teaspoon | Ground coriander |
½ teaspoon | Salt |
¼ cup | Chopped peanuts |
Wash and finely chop Swiss chard. Boil ¼ cup water. Add chopped chard, cover, and cook about 6 minutes or until tender. Drain well.
Heat vegetable oil in a skillet and add turmeric, ground cumin, coriander and salt. Add chard and continue cooking and stirring, over medium-low heat, about 5 more minutes.
