Swiss chard saute

2 | cups | Cooked swiss chard; (2 to 3) |
1 | tablespoon | Olive oil; (1 to 2) |
1 | small | Clov garlic; crushed and minced |
1 | small | Onion; diced |
¼ | teaspoon | Salt |
¼ | teaspoon | Pepper |
Crumbled cooked sausage and diced | ||
; potatoes are optional |
Directions
Heat olive oil on medium heat and saute onions and garlic till onions are glassy. Add chopped swiss chard and stir-fry till coated with olive oil, garlic and onions. Add salt and pepper. (Then add sausage and potatoes if desired). Turn to low heat and stir-fry or saute till greens are soft and pliable. Serve as a side dish or as a main entree with sausage and potato ingredients. Very tasty and nutritious. Serves 2-4 Enjoy!
