Fresh strawberry layer pudding

| 1 | pounds | Confectioners' sugar |
| 2 | Eggs | |
| ½ | pint | Whipping cream, whipped or |
| 8 | ounces | Cool Whip |
| 1 | quart | Strawberries |
| 1 | pounds | Vanilla wafers |
Directions
Cream together first 3 ingredients. Roll vanilla wafers into not too fine crumbs. Place ½ in bottom of pan (9x13). Cover with layer of creamed butter, sugar and eggs. Then cover with strawberries whole or sliced. Cover with whipped cream - then top with rest of vanilla crumbs. Garnish with whole berries and chill. May be chilled overnight.
