Layered strawberry dessert

Ingredients

Nonstick cooking spray
3cupsStrawberries, sliced
1pack(8 oz) fat-free cream cheese
½cupSifted powdered sugar
cupLemon nonfat yogurt
1teaspoonLemon peel, finely shredded
2cupsLow fat whipped dessert topping, thawed
2Vanilla or chocolate wafers, crushed

Directions

In a 2-quart clear glass bowl layer half of the strawberries. Set aside.

In medium mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, powdered sugar, lemon yogurt and lemon peel. Beat with an electric mixer on medium speed till light and fluffy. Carefully spread mixture over strawberries.

Arrange remaining sliced strawberries on top. Spread with whipped topping.

Sprinkle cookie crumbs on top. Cover and chill at least 2 hours.
