⅔ cup | Crushed corn chips |
½ cup | Chili sauce |
4 slices | Velveeta extra thick pasteurized process cheese spread |
4 \N | Hard rolls; split |
\N \N | Guacamole |
\N \N | Chopped tomato |
Combine meat, corn chips and ¼ cup chili sauce; mix lightly. Shape into four patties; place on rack of broiler pan. Broil on both sides to desired doneness. Top with Velveeta cheese spread; broil until cheese spread begins to melt. Spread rolls with remaining ingredients and additional chips, if desired. 4 sandwiches. VARIATIONS: 1. Substitute an 8¼-oz can crushed pineapple, drained, 3 tablespoons soy sauce and ¼ teaspoon ground ginger for corn chips and chili sauce.
2. Substitute hamburger buns for hard rolls.
3. Substitute 4 green pepper slices for guacamole and tomatoes.
