Fabulous funnel cakes

2tablespoonsSugar
1teaspoonBaking powder
¼teaspoonSalt
¾cupMilk
1Egg, beaten
Oil
Powdered sugar

Directions

Combine dry ingredients. Combine milk and egg and add to dry ingredients mixing until smooth. Use a ⅜" to ½" funnel; fill with ¼ cup batter, holding finger over bottom. Place funnel near oil, remove finger and pour batter into 1" of hot oil using circular motion to form 4" spiral. Fry until golden brown, turning once.
