Yield: 4 Servings
|3 mediums||Baking potatoes|
|2 tablespoons||Butter, cut up|
|\N \N||Generous dash salt|
|\N \N||Generous dash freshly ground pepper|
Peel pots. [Cut in half lengthwise.] Slice ¼" thick. Arrange in a butter 9" or 10" pie plate, overlapping the slices. Pour vermouth over the pots and dot with butter. S&P generously.
[Can prepare ahead to this point.] Bake at 350-375F for about 30 min, till pots are done.
