Yield: 4 Servings
|1½ pounds||Ground beef|
|1 small||Onion, finely chopped|
|¼ cup||Seasoned bread crumbs|
|2 tablespoons||Chopped fresh parsley|
|1 teaspoon||Prepared horseradish|
|2 cups||(5 oz.) sliced mushrooms|
|1 can||(10 1/2 oz.) mushroom gravy|
In a medium bowl, combine ground beef, onion, bread crumbs, egg, parsley, horseradish and salt; mix well. Shape into 4 oval patties about ½ inch thick.
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat until hot. Add beef patties and cook 6 to 7 minutes on each side, or until no longer pink inside. Transfer to a platter and cover with aluminum foil to keep warm. Drain off all but 1 tablespoon of the liquid from the skillet.
In the same skillet, saute mushrooms over medium heat 3 to 4 minutes, or until tender. Add gravy and heat 3 to 4 minutes, or until heated through.
Pour the gravy mixture over the beef patties and serve. Makes 4 servings Typed in MMFormat by cjhartlin.msn@... Source: Mr. Food Easy Cooking May/June 99
