1½ pounds | Ground beef |
1 small | Onion, finely chopped |
¼ cup | Seasoned bread crumbs |
1 \N | Egg |
2 tablespoons | Chopped fresh parsley |
1 teaspoon | Prepared horseradish |
1 teaspoon | Salt |
2 cups | (5 oz.) sliced mushrooms |
1 can | (10 1/2 oz.) mushroom gravy |
In a medium bowl, combine ground beef, onion, bread crumbs, egg, parsley, horseradish and salt; mix well. Shape into 4 oval patties about ½ inch thick.
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat until hot. Add beef patties and cook 6 to 7 minutes on each side, or until no longer pink inside. Transfer to a platter and cover with aluminum foil to keep warm. Drain off all but 1 tablespoon of the liquid from the skillet.
In the same skillet, saute mushrooms over medium heat 3 to 4 minutes, or until tender. Add gravy and heat 3 to 4 minutes, or until heated through.
