Delicious microwavable rice

Measure Ingredient
1½ cup Uncooked instant rice
1½ cup Hot water
¼ cup Margarine or butter
1 cup Finely chopped onion
1 small Clove garlic -- finely
\N \N Chopped
2 teaspoons Instant chicken bouillon
¼ teaspoon Dried basil leaves
1 can 4 oz Mushrooms
2 tablespoons Snipped parsley
\N \N Grated Parmesan cheese

Mix all ingredients, except mushrooms, parsley and Parmesan cheese, in 1½-quart microwavable casserole. Cover tightly and microwave on HIGH for 7 minutes. Stir in mushrooms. Cover tightly and microwave until rice is tender and water is absorbed, 4-6 minutes. Stir in parsley and sprinkle with cheese.
