Dandelion wine

Measure Ingredient
4 quarts Dandelion blossoms
4 quarts Boiling water
6 Oranges
4 Lemons
2 Yeast cakes
4 pounds Sugar

Scald the blossoms in the boiling water & let stand overnight. The next morning, strain, add the pulp & juice of 6 oranges, the juice of 4 lemons, the yeast & the sugar. Let ferment for 4 days, then strain & bottle. Serve in small glasses at room temperature.
