Mari's dandelion wine

Measure Ingredient
4 quarts Dandelion blossoms
4 quarts Boiling water
6 Oranges
4 Lemons
2 Yeast cakes
4 pounds Sugar

From: pamram@... (Pamela Ramsey) Date: 9 Jul 1995 12:51:33 -0400 Scald the blossoms in the boiling water and let stand overnight. The next morning, strain, add the pulp and juice of 6 oranges, the juice of 4 lemons, the yeast and the sugar. Let ferment for 4 days, then strain and bottle. Serve in small glasses at room temperature.
