Dakota diner chili

Measure Ingredient
1½ pounds LEAN ground sirloin chuck or round
⅓ medium Sweet onion - diced
¼ cup Chi-Chi's Fiesta Picante - Mild
2 cans (11.5 oz) tomato juice
1 can (10 3/4 oz) tomato soup
1 can (14.5 oz) regular diced tomatoes
1 tablespoon (level) of *Ancho Chile Seasoning
1 teaspoon Celery seed
1 teaspoon Oregano
¼ teaspoon Coarse black pepper

WET INGREDIENTS

SEASONINGS

In a large pan, cook the beef and onion till meat is brown. Drain fat. Stir in tomato juice, picante sauce, undrained diced tomatoes, soup and seasonings. Bring to a boil. Reduce to simmer for a minimum of 20 minutes.

Add water as necessary to achieve desired consistency.
