| 4 | eaches | Med Tomato, chopped |
| 1 | dash | Red pepper |
| 2 | tablespoons | Bacon, smoked, diced |
| 3 | eaches | Onion, sliced |
| 1 | teaspoon | Salt |
| 1 | cup | Water, hot |
Directions
Cut string beans in small pieces. Fry the bacon until crisp and brown, add the other ingredients and simmer for 1 hour. Add the hot water and continue cooking 2 hours longer, adding more water if necessary.
