Skillet beans

Yield: 1 batch

Measure Ingredient
4 slices Bacon
½ medium Green pepper, chopped
1 small Onion, chopped
1 can 8 oz pineapple chunks
Drained
3 tablespoons Brown sugar
1½ teaspoon Cornstarch
3 tablespoons Vinegar
1 tablespoon Soy sauce
1 can 20 oz baked beans

Pan fry bacon, green pepper, onion and pineapple in a 10 inch skillet until lightly browned. Combine brown sugar and cornstarch and stir in vinegar and soy sauce.

Slowly stir into meat mixture and cook until thickened. Stir in the baked beans. Simmer in skillet on top of range over low heat for about 15 minutes.
