Yield: 4 servings
|2 eaches||Garlic cloves|
|1 tablespoon||Curry powder|
|1⅓ cup||Tomato ketchup|
|1 teaspoon||Cider vinegar|
|2 eaches||Bay leaves|
|12 eaches||Whole cloves|
Slice onions & chop garlic finely. Heat margarine & saute the onion & garlic in it until they brown. Stir in the curry powder & add the ketchup with the rest of the ingredients. Simmer for about 20 minutes, until it thickens. Remove bay leaves & cloves.
This is best served hot on wholewheat toast or chilled on crackers.
It is quite rich, so spread thinly.
