Curried date dressing for salad

Ingredients

| 8 | ounces | Chopped dates; (1 box) |
| 1 | medium | Onion; quartered |
| 2 | tablespoons | Curry powder |
| ½ | teaspoon | Salt |
| ¼ | teaspoon | Red wine vinegar |
| ¾ | cup | Water |
| ¼ | cup | Canola oil |
Directions
Place all ingredients, except the oil, in a blender or food processor and blend for 1 minute. Slowly add the oil while the blender is still running.
Makes 2-½ cups.
Each ¼ cup serving contains 128 cals, 0 chol., 6 g. fat. Serve on vegetable and fruit salads. Use as sauce for poultry, lamb or pork.
