Creole pepper steak

2Cloves garlic, crushed
1teaspoonEach dried thyme leaves and paprika
½teaspoonEach ground white, red and black pepper

Directions

Combine garlic, thyme, paprika and peppers; press evenly into both sides of beef steak. Place steak on grid over medium coals. Grill steak 12 to 14 minutes for rare (140 F) to medium (160 F), turning once. Season with salt, if desired. Carve steak diagonally into thin slices. 4 servings.
