Creamy baked peaches

Measure Ingredient
4 cups Peach slices; thawed if frozen
½ cup Sugar
1 tablespoon Plus 1 tsp. unsalted butter
1 tablespoon Cornstarch
1 tablespoon Cold water
½ cup Evaporated skim milk
½ teaspoon Vanilla extract

Prep: 10 min, Cook: 25 min.

Preheat oven to 450øF. Arrange peaches in a glass baking dish. Sprinkle with sugar. Dot peaches with butter. Bake 15-25 minutes, basting peaches and turning twice until peaches are tender. Combine cornstarch and water in a jar with a tight fitting lid. Shake vigorously. Add milk and vanilla.

Shake to combine and set aside. When peaches are done, remove from baking dish with a slotted spoon. Stir milk mixture into baking dish.
